Census 2011 Advertisement
Play Nicely were approached by Bray Leino about developing a nationwide campaign that would encourage Britain to fill in their Census 2011 forms.
Our main deliverable were a football, a PC mouse, a toolbox, a bus, a house and an origami alphabet, all in 3D and animated as if emerging from a single sheet of paper. The PC mouse advert called for hiring a crew, hand model and equipment, animating elements and finishing with post-production.
We produced a TV advert, printed stills and online material, all in the distinctive origami design and the colour purple, ensuring high cross-platform visibility. The advert was broadcast in April, the posters were up in bus shelters, and without Adblock you may have seen the banner ads every day.
