Sculpt Yourself with Plymouth University
Plymouth University briefed us to make an engaging and inspiring experience to cause a buzz around their touring UCAS stand. Using Leap Motion gesture tracking technology we created a custom made system for users to morph their own abstract shape with their hands in 3D space. Participants were able to pull apart, squash, spin and scale their 3D polygons, whilst adding electric ribbons with their fingers that would in turn scrunch the shape even more.
The system was designed to be explorative with no limits and no specific outcome. Users got out what they put in – some played for seconds, some for minutes, with all creations automatically saved to a gallery, put on display and made available as a take home.
